Antonelli has tried more than 100 jury trials in 30 years as a lawyer, handling cases through the appellate level, concentrating his practice on insurance, self-insurance and corporate defense clients. He has been with the firm since its founding in 1985. His practice has also included non-jury trials, arbitration proceedings and hundreds of mediations. His areas of practice include premises liability, negligent security, construction accidents, police and municipal liability, including civil rights defense. He is a frequent lecturer and author in all areas of trial practice. An Eagle Scout, he is President of the South Florida Council, Boy Scouts of America, and a past board chair for the Board of Managers for the South Dade YMCA. He is a past president of both the Florida Defense Lawyers Association and Dade County Defense Bar Association, and a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel. Listed in the 2013 edition of Best Lawyers in America and in Super Lawyers magazine, Antonelli is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
